Pink Up on the Grand Final Eve Holiday at Mt Martha's South Beach Market

Updated: Sep 17, 2019

The Mt Martha South Beach Market returns again on AFL Grand Final Eve, Friday September 27, with 80 makers and creators stalls, which include a record number of local Mt Martha Atisans, showcasing their talent, to what is expected to be another bumper attendance on a day where Mt Martha will Pink Up in support of the McGrath Foundation.

The newly created Public Holiday on Friday September 27 provides a perfect date for the Market to attract both local residents, who have really embraced this market in the heart of the village, and tourists who come down to the Peninsula for the long weekend as Unrivalled Events boss Paul Harvey said "This date is perfect to stage the market as there is not alot else going on the Friday plus it also provide's a big boost to the local economy with a record number of Mt Martha residents stalls and local retailers in the village also recording big sales on previous market day's."

Mt Martha South Beach Market is extremely honored to announce that we have joined forces with Pink Up Mt Martha, in association with the McGrath Foundation, to help raise money to increase the number of Breast Care Nurses on the Mornington Peninsula. So please make sure you keep an eye out for the Pinked Up donation boxes, which will be scattered around the Market on AFL Grand Final Eve and help us support this amazing cause.

The Market runs from 10am until 3pm on the AFL Grand Final Eve Public Holiday, Friday September 27 at the Mt Martha House Lawn on the Esplanade. Parking options are available on the Mt Martha South Beach Website and patrons are asked to please park responsibly in the local area, respecting the locals and using some of the cars parks which are within a 10 minute walk like car parks surrounding Mt Martha Primary School. The market is also dog friendly but just make sure they are on short leads with a big crowd expected.
