Soul Night Market just what the Peninsula Needs

The 1st Soul Night Market on Friday July 26 is just what the Mornington Peninsula needed, was the feedback from both stallholders and public alike as the Peninsula Community Theatre in Mornington hosted the Foodie/Makers Market.

Market Organizers Unrivalled Events, who also run the hugely popular Mt Martha South Beach Market, where delighted with the 1st event and said it will only get bigger and better "We are really pleased that the vision we had for the market came through which was people socialising, eating, drinking and shopping as an alternative Friday Night Out. I think we brought a mini Night Market from the City vibe down to the Peninsula which was our aim. The weather was inclement all night but despite showers people still showed up and most stayed outside on the Food Lawn and commented on what a great atmosphere it was and just what was needed on the Peninsula, with new food vendors not seen down here before "

The predominately makers market not only had stalls, food and drink but also live soul inspired music and this will be the theme of the markets as they go forward. "With a few tweaks here and there this will go on to be a great night out on the Peninsula enjoyed by thousands of locals and visitors " said Unrivalled Events boss Paul Harvey "And we plan to expand to other areas of Melbourne as time goes on so stay tuned."

Soul Night Market Indoors at the PCT Mornington

The Soul Night Market Mornington will now become a Bi Monthly market at the Peninsula Community Theatre with the next one set down for Friday October 11 from 5pm to 9pm. During the colder months it will be predominately indoors but as the weather gets better it will transfer also to other areas of the complex giving more stallholders an opportunity. Another venue will be announced shortly for the Summer Months.
